September 26, 2021-- NWA White Sox are Runners-Up
September 19, 2021-- Having been in baseball 48 years as player and coach, I've had a lifetime of memorable days. But today might give the top of them all a fight... admittedly, my NWA White Sox have had a pretty crap season. 5-10 going into the playoffs is not something I'd mention out loud. Except when you tell your guys that the playoffs are a brand new season and we could change our fortunes. And then they do. We came in as the #5 seed and beat the #4 seed in the quarter final game and then #1 seed (defending league champions) to advance to the championship at Arvest Ballpark next Sunday. We STILL can't do better than .500 record but we are at minimum league runners-up. It was a strange day for pitching with the oddest zones I've ever seen (in 48 years). But I like the outcome. So proud of my guys for their fight today against two opponents that are better on paper by a bit. Let's GO! --Stephen
September 23, 2018-- NWA White Sox advance to NWAMSBL Championship Game for 10th time in team's 20-year history on the back of Ryan Harralston's 8 RBI day in the first two rounds of the playoffs with a 14-2 win over 6-seed Indians and an 11-2 win over 2-seed X-Tinct ending the X-Tinct's 5-year reign.
Feb 1, 2017--Boudreaux steps down as NWAMSBL League President after 15 years.
NWA White Sox Manager, Stephen Boudreaux produced this promotional video for the NWAMSBL which, obviously, features quite a few photos of White Sox players through the years as well as an audio track from his new band, Honeyjack (www.honeyjackband.com) titled, "Not Your Man". Boudreaux is the drummer for the new group whose 5th show was opening for STYX at the Walmart AMP. See photo below of Boudreaux donning his NWA White Sox hat during the STYX show...

Some of my favorite inspirational baseball quotes... "I enjoy the game... principally because it makes me feel American. And I think there are only three things that America will be known for 2,000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music, and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced."--George Early "Whoever wants to know the heart and mind of America had better learn baseball."-- Jacques Barzun I loved the game. I'd have played for food money. I'd have played for free and worked for food. It was the game, the parks, the smells, the sounds. Have you ever held a bat or a baseball to your face? The varnish, the leather. And it was the crowd, the excitement of them rising as one when the ball was hit deep. ... It makes me tingle all over like a kid on his way to his first double-header, just to talk about it. -- Joe Jackson, in Shoeless Joe Jackson "I'd walk through hell in a gasoline suit to play baseball."- Pete Rose "People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring"--Rogers Hornsby
September 11, 2001--Home--As all of you know, the surreal events in New York City have put a hush over the world. The unspeakable terrorist acts have affected all of our lives in some way. No doubt, these events will continue to influence our sense of content as free and secure Americans. As we hope the people of the world could live and let live in harmony, we as fathers, brothers, sons, and Americans wish for a peaceful resolve to bring justice to those who use terror to speak. Baseball has endured as a symbol of America along with jazz music, cowboys, and fenceless prairies. However it takes a back seat to America's healing. When players return to the diamond, they will be reminded of a free America and that it should not be taken for granted. God Bless America!--S. Boudreaux
